    Default Glock 22 RTF 2

Is the RTF 2 anything special? I had a gen 3 22c, didn't care for it blasting my eyeballs.
I have a really nice RTF 2 I got from a member here, and would like to know if it is "special" before I decide to modify it or not. It has a 3 digit serial number, if that matters.

    Thanks in advance.

Special is in the eye of the beholder. The texture is more rare and you either like it or you don't. I was not a Glock fan til I held one of the RTF2 Gen III and now I own 2 G19RTF2 and a G21RTF2. It is my preferred version of glock pistols and when I find a G17RTF2 to add to the rest I will be happy.

Its your pistol do what you want but consider the resale value if your long term intentions do not include keeping it.

Thanks for the input. Mine has different slide serrations than the ones in your pic. Mine has curved serrations, kinda like shark gills.
I'm a 1911 guy, but like the Glock for a "headboard" gun.

Also, I guess I'm trying to figure if it is a worthy trade for a S&W M&P in either .40 or .45.
I'd sure like one of those calibers in a FDE VTAC model.

Glock in gen3 is worth more than m&p. By about $50-100...
The model you have is rare...r but haven't seen them actually worth more money. Just novelty. Good gun though. Someone would trade you for a standard gen3 if you want to mod it.

If I stay with Glock, I'll keep this one, it is a good gun, nice night sights, 5 mags etc. I would however trade it for a M&P in FDE, either .40 or .45.

Man i love mine. The texture is what i like the mosr, the serrations are a nice addition and i have nightsights. The member who bought it was nice enough to let me get it back. I wont get rid of this one.
