    Push it and find out. Looks like some sort of throttle adjust for a PTO.

    i push it and nothing happens. I can't trace it out of the firewall because it's in a weird place and i dont think i'm tracing the right cable. Then, when i was down there I looked at the damn fuel filter, and some moron busted off the drain valve. Guess I should of checked that before I bought it.

    well, good news...i finally drained the fuel filter of the water, but I still have the water in fuel light on when the HT starts up. I had hoped...but time to swap the filter! I just don't trust that damn plastic drain valve...

    how would i test the "exhaust red brake button of death"? Any ideas?

    Just get up 30-40 and back out of the throttle. Then push the button and it should be very clear the change. . Mine is on/off with a switch and vacuum operated.

    When on it engages anytime you back off the throttle but I have seen manual ones. They are very useful on the Dodge.

    had tmleadr03 come over and look at the dang thing. Damn, did i buy a fixer upper.
    So far, repairs are gonna run around 3500 just to make it nice to drive. Sigh, wife is not happy about this one.

    tmleadr03, use him and abuse him!!! Great guy to work with. I still like honky tonk, and the kids love it more. Dog likes her seat so time to get this thing fixed!!!

    Drive shaft
    oil pan/gasket leak
    front end replacement

    All the things that could go wrong with this truck...well i got it!!! flmao
