As you guys know I hated tim tebow's playing from day one
I said it many times he would make a great tight end, the jets lined him up as a slot receiver all day

Great minds think alike I guess

That being said, manning manning manning

Even if he only has four years or one year left in him I'll take it, oh and Tracy Porter had a pretty good game too

    Default Big Macs?

    Uhm, free Big Macs?

I must have missed something along the way, but I'm old.

    Please enlighten.

Man that was a good game, Manning just picked apart their defense like they were a high school team. The main improvement that I saw was the offensive line. There was solid protection for Manning all night long. They picked up the blitz every time and if they keep that up we have good enough ball handlers to make the plays.

I am psyched for this season, and if manning is healed up (I think that he took plenty of time to do it right) we are going to the post season the right way. I wish we would have kept Tebow as a tight-end too.

"Pro" football is about the only "pro" I watch, and I've been a Manning fan for many years, along with a Farve fan. BUT, does Peyton not know how to pick apart a defense or what. Loved watching him play cat and mouse with Troy last night, and win.
If last night is any indication, this is going to be a fun season to watch Denver Broncos.

Definitely fun to watch the Broncos last night. Pretty clear the Steelers were playing "slow it down" vs Manning while the Broncos were playing "speed it up". Although on balance I do think Porter had a good game, even without the pick 6, he was very nearly burned in the endzone. Got a finger on the ball to deflect it, but was way out of position.

Given the last Steeler series with the sacks and pick, it appears this team might be tough to catch from behind if they have a lead and the other team needs to throw a lot. A good start, but a brutal schedule.

Video just for you, from those of us happy the new Ryan Leif experiment is no longer happening in Denver.

Manning has taken some pretty good shots pre season and in the Steelers game. He's fine. If he's injured, its because any QB would have been injured by some possible future hit etc.

Totally excited by the Broncos play. Not so happy about the LBs and Safeties getting picked apart on all of those 3rd and longs. They need to get on that issue now or it will come up every game this year.

I've been singing the praise of them signing Peyton since the day it happened. I can't believe I had to listen to those say it was a bad move this whole time and was just waiting for this day to prove that he's the Peyton we all expected him to be. Any QB can get injured at any time so I'm not even worried about that because it's the same variable for all of them. Hell, how many teams lost their starting QB yesterday alone? Not Denver. Largest free agent signing in the history of the league... maybe all of professional sports.

The only thing I'm amazed at is how many people are amazed that Peyton Manning is capable of this. Uhm... he did exactly this for 14yrs in Indy and I used to watch Indy games just to watch the guy operate. He's the next evolution of the NFL QB and people need to bottle up what he does and study it and give up on the running QB because as much as people want to think that is next next evolution it's not. A head coach on the field that can dissect defenses and get into the correct play and what not is where it's at. I'm just amazed that we don't see more QB's doing what Peyton does as this should be what all QB's strive for. Tell me one physical attribute that he posses more than any other QB in the league. Go ahead, I'll wait.
