Note he's not saying he didn't plagiarize - just that he thinks his plagiarism didn't warrant firing, so the "first amendment" grounds must have been the real issue. Which is funny, since plagiarism is just about the worst academic crime one can commit.
Not to mention "enhancing" his CV on his application to CU, and his claim to Native American heritage (since proven false) that he used to get preference for the job.
