Uhh... like the concept as described in the OP but not a fan of the racist or "white privilege" twist after reviewing the links. 'Bout had it up to my eyes with being blamed for every failing of the system or minorities attributed to my simply being Caucasian. I assure you I am neither "privileged" nor guilt-ridden. Guns for the White Man only
Gun laws from the beginning of the United States of America have always favored the wealthy white man. The first laws written barred Native Americans and Blacks (freed or enslaved) from possessing firearms and continued through the Jim Crow era.
World War II saw gun confiscations precede forced interment of Japanese-American citizens just because of the fear of war empowered the white man to do so. The fact that no German-Americans or Italian-Americans had their firearms taken just supports that gun laws have been written for the white majority.

The California Gun Control Act of 1968 has been said to be a knee-jerk reaction to the Black Panther’s use of loaded rifles in peaceful protest to bring attention to white bigotry in the Oakland police department and abuses by its white police officers against black citizens. Even today, the majority of Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permits issued in California are given to white males.
This racial trend in gun control has also jumped the color barrier to only favor the rich who can financially afford their 2nd Amendment right to bear arms and secure self-defense CCW permits through political campaign donations while the single mother in the inner city can’t legally acquire an affordable gun to protect her family.

wow... The majority of ccw permits are given to members of society known for having the majority of money and said individuals ALSO happen to be the racial majority as well!? Conspiracy...

I think pointing out that racist legislation used to be ok is unnecessary and counter productive. I don't get the civil rights play. Ive never been turned away from a gun counter for being a scary minority.

real issue? Poor is poor. The glock in the glass case at the gun store is $550 whether I am black, white, or Asian (or all of the above).

Lol to the thought of "inner city mom not having enough money to carry". My neighbor- on food stamps now, 'inner city mom', carries... It is strictly an issue of priorities... And the average American's priorities are... (Internal filter on overdrive right now) not aligned with long term success, stability, sustainability, upward mobility, logic, responsibility etc. IMO, and forgive me for being crude, some of the poor aren't so hot in the decision making arena.
