    Whether it be a four legged or two legged invader trying to rip open my tent, I can assure you I will not be spending much time pondering whether it is legal for me to shoot...or not.

    Thanks for all of the answers. There were several mentions of National forrest, does this mean that on State land open carry is not allowed? Tarryall is a mix of State Federal and Private land in the surrounding area.

    I OCed up to the top of Bierdstat last year and got a bunch of strange looks when we made it to the top where everyone was resting. My wife asked if I cared and I told her that the only look I saw was "dont screw with that guy." didn't bother me a bit.


    Plus you never know where a squatch might be!!!!
