It is an act of war and needs to be treated as such.

They have a nation now so we have a solid, easy to find target instead of a shifting, blending target like in Afghanistan.

    Withdraw all aid and personnel.

Wait until they have a high level government meeting and level the building.

Not these days. Countries are no longer responsible for their people when we label them terrorist.

Severely understaffed DSS currently and it takes a letter from congress, submitted 30 days prior, to use force with DoS nowadays.

Perhaps it's time to reprise "to the shores of Tripoli" for these jackwagons.

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Exactly. The logic trail is even more astonishing. So, this Israeli dude who lives in CA makes a movie that depicts their prophet as both a fraud and womanizer. The trailer to the movie enrages them so much that both Egypt and Libya attack our embassies. This makes perfect sense to do if you are a crazy person. This after our support during their little uprisings.

Stay classy middle east, stay classy.......

I'd be perfectly happy if the U.S. didn't send one more dollar or soldier to the Middle East, not to one single country in the region - none of them. Chances of that occurring? - ZERO.

Here's something to toss around on a rainy morning:

So when does the government become responsible for the actions of unrelated organizations in it's jurisdiction?

Say the black panthers or some white supremacist bombed some embassy or another. Is that really an act of war?

I understand that we're dealing with a bit of a more complicated situation here, not to mention despicable (really? A movie?!) but I'm curious where people here individually draw the line.

Because they are now effectively eye candy with orders not to engage...

I agree, once they stick their heads over that wall, game on. It SHOULD be declared and act of war and we should send them back to the stone age... oh wait, too late.

Maybe I don't see the big picture but bring our boys home and @#$%^ the rest of the world (except our genuine allies of course).
