    Default 308 suppressed

So are 308's that are suppressed hearing safe? I have got a Arbiter and a 30p-1 on the way (should be here any minute 6 months from now) and really haven't been around any being shot with standard rounds. I know shooting subs they are stupid quiet, just wasn't sure with super sonic.

This is kinda like a group phsyc session for stamp waiters huh??? HELP my phsycy is phsic.

I shoot my .308 w/o hearing protection without much issue (when I am the only person out). Louder than my unsuppressed .22.

What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

There are no hearing safe centerfire rifle suppressors, the sonic crack by itself is above the damage threshold.

The beautiful thing about a suppressed rifle is the lack of concussion from the round firing. You'll have the supersonic crack, but you can get away with light ear plugs if no one else is shooting something obnoxious.
