    I have one, a S&W my wife and kids gave me for my 60th birthday a couple of years ago. My wife gave my son some money to buy a red dot for my Mini-14. He thought the M&P was way cooler than a sight.

    I'll tell you a secret though:

    My M1 Garand is more fun to shoot.
