    Default (extra) heavy buffer?

My Olympic K9GL shipped with the regular 3oz "223 carbine" buffer.

It spits brass a LOT further than I think it should. I expect it to be even worse with a suppressor.

What should I look for as a replacement? I see lots and lots of "heavy" buffers listed, but seldom the actual weight.

clip the ejector spring a little. Mine spits brass about 4ft off to the rear right depending on load some hotter loads will still sling it pretty good. When I first bought it, it would spit brass about 15ft from where I was shooting in prone.
Dont cut the extractor spring, but the actual ejector spring.

i clipped 1/4 coil at a time until it was ok. buy a spare just incase you go to much
