Hell yeah! My wife became a citizen this year. She is so psyched to be able to vote. It's sad how many Americans don't vote themselves, but many are so ignorant that it may be best if they stay home.

I had to update my voter information the other day because I'm moving back up to Evergreen at the end of this month- that would suck, living in Evergreen and having to drive down to Lakewood to vote...

HoneyBadger, thanks for putting this up. Chuck Norris said it in an interview not too long ago- "We need to get people to get out and vote, that's where the republicans got hammered in 2008, so many didn't register or flat out didn't vote.

What? 2 years ago, I went down to the Jeffco office here in Evergreen to vote (it was a polling place) and they turned away an elderly lady because she wasn't registered... So one would think, if they haven't changed it, that if you need a DL to register, and you need to be registered to vote, problem solved? Right? Oh wait, they give DL's to illegals too...

When my mom became a citizen she goes out of her way to vote,back in communist Poland she wasn't able to.She says its a shame that people squander off some of their given rights where others would die just to have that right..
