No problem! This is my first time voting in the state of Colorado, and I figured there might be other people on this forum that could benefit from the link to register, update addresses, etc.

Unfortunately there isn't an easy solution to this, but we need to get more EDUCATED people to vote - people who can actually tell you about all the candidates and their rationale for voting a certain way. I didn't vote in the first few elections after I turned 18, and for no real good reason. It's a shame, but back then my vote wouldn't have helped our current cause anyway. I'm glad to be more politically educated and more aware now, and I'm glad to be able to exercise a privilege that isn't recognized in many places around the world.

Ironic since voting is the only thing you should ever really need to show an ID for, right?

HoneyBadger, good job. This is a great place to promote get out the vote, as most people here have a handle on the importance of this election, and what needs to be done. Plus, we're fortunate to live in one of only a handful of states where the result of the vote is not already baked into the cake, as it was in my old home state of New York. WE can actually make a difference.
