A 20-year-old Pennsylvania man, found naked and bleeding profusely, is facing assault charges after allegedly gnawing on the head of a woman during a zombie-like attack akin to the 'Miami Cannibal' who was shot and killed in May.
State police used a stun gun on Richard Cimino Jr. early Friday after two women reported he was 'screaming like an animal' and 'began to gnaw' on one of their heads.
The women managed to escape without serious injuries and called police.

According to state police, Cimino acted delusional and confrontational and lunged at one trooper before another one shot him with a stun gun.
He was covered in blood from injuries he received after breaking into a vacant house and jumping out a second-floor window.

According to investigators, the bizarre incident started in the early morning hours of 7 September when Cimino parked his car in Hawley, Wayne County, and stripped to his underpants.
He first tried to break into a house, but the resident awoke and chased him away.
Cimino then fled to an empty house in the next block, shedding his underwear along the way. He jumped out of a second-floor window of the unoccupied house and then approached the two women walking on the street.

Autopsy tests linked Rudy Eugene's attack to a cannabis-induced psychosis
Cimino allegedly tackled one of the women to the ground, and she said she became covered in his blood after he 'began to gnaw' at her head 'while screaming like an animal'.
In addition to lunging at a state trooper, state police told The Morning Call that Cimino also punched a paramedic in the face before he was taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center-Scranton for his injuries.
Charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, indecent exposure, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, defiant trespass and burglary have been filed against Cimino, but court records show he had not been arraigned on the charges as of Thursday.
State police did not confirm if Cimino was under the influence of any substances during the incident.

Police initially believed Eugene may have been under the influence of bath salts. However, authorities have since said autopsy tests showed the previously diagnosed schizophrenic man had only marijuana in his system and have linked the Memorial Day weekend attack to a cannabis-induced psychosis.
Since the attack, Pennsylvania has outlawed bath salts and synthetic marijuana - two hallucinogenic substances that were being widely sold at gas stations and convenience stores.
That is nasty. Crazy stuff.
