Default Fire ball in the sky

Did anyone else just see something very large entering the upper atmosphere about 5 min ago. More then a small meteorite, it seriously exploded into a flash of fragments.

Cool. Search Google and see if you can find any talk of it.

About three years ago, I saw a really bright white/blue flash of something burning that lasted about 3 seconds as it streaked from West to East overhead by Castle Rock. Never saw any reports of it, so I guess it was just my wife and I that saw it. Seemed pretty special at the time.

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

    Default Meteor

Most likely a meteor. 10 years ago, I saw one and actually HEARD it sizzling down near Penrose, CO. I found out later it is called a "sonic bolide". Much more common to be seen here than say Cape Canaveral,Florida because we are a mile higher.
