I was thinking about getting a magnifier for my aimpoint on the AR and wholy s**t!!! They are just as or more expensive than the aimpoint! Whats up with that?!?!?! Does anyone know of a cheaper but quality alternative to aimpoint or eotech magnifiers?

I have one, there is a good reason they're so expensive. The damn thing is bomb proof.
Vortex? No personal experience w/ their magnifier, but I've heard good things.

I hear the vortex is pretty good actually. Burris makes one too that you can zero if I remember right, and I think its made by the same folks as the Vortex.
just buy a used one.....mines built like a damn tank
