Default Local source to purchase gold?

So I know a guy who's thinking of buying some of the shiny stuff. Small amounts to start, maybe some silver as well.

Anyone know a trustworthy place in town?

The guy that runs the coin shop 1 block east of I-25 and Arapahoe (strip mall south side) is GTG.

    Default Hallenbecks

    http://www.hallenbeckcoingallery.com/

I know it isn't in the metro area, but they are really fair & honest. Silver sold to them, they pay $1 under spot. They sell silver bullion $2 over spot. Cash or check, NO Credit Cards. I haven't bought any gold from them. Some of the coins they have on display are worth the visit if you like coins. I'd call them before you go to check prices, I don't know what they get for ASE, Libertads, etc.

Good luck with investing in PM's

Dave's Gold and Silver Exchange on Broadway in Denver, couple doors south of Rocky Mountain Coin and that big model train store. I think a block or so south of Alameda?

Good intel... Nice to find some place that's decent local to the COS region.

I hadn't heard of them, but then again I haven't been actively searching.

    Default ANA Musem

Nice thing about the Hallenbecks store is that it is on the same street as the American Numismatic Association Museum and headquarters. They have a silver dollar valued at over $30,000,000, that you can see.

Saturday the 29th is FREE ADMISSION. I will probably go!
