Default We lost Sophie earlier today...

Thanks for the post, timing was perfect. We lost Sophie, our Boston Terrier earlier today. She ate part of a plastic bone that ended up creating too much damage to recover from. Eight plus surgeries over the past week and a half was too much for her. She was a special dog that brought much happiness to our family and will be missed terribly.

Well, Crap. I'm awfully sorry. Sounds like you did everything possible for your girl. I expect my Cica and Shadow are welcoming her as we speak. Hang in there.

    Default Thanks Guys!

It's been a very difficult day. As sad as I am it's been much more difficult for my wife. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts.

I read the OP, face gets wet somehow, 15 year old stepdaughter comes out of her room unexpectedly and looks at me and I'm like "oh, ahhhem, ahhhhh, sniiiiiff, hi!" <fake smile> She looks at me like I'm crazy, as usual.

bczandm: yeah, tough time for you, sorry for your loss man.

So sorry for your loss Bob. That's just terrible and one of the MANY things I'm paranoid with when it comes to dogs. We used to do Greenies but discontinued due to one of our dogs choking on the last bit once to keep the other one from getting it. I hate reading stuff like this and feel awful for you guys. I'm sure my Gixxer is also welcoming her and she's a wonderful & playful companion to other dogs.
