Default PMC Spectrum ammo (Polymer-Cased ammo)

I ran across a post on another forum about the PMC Spectrum ammo made by Natec. It is a polymer cased ammo. Kind of interesting.

Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it safe to use in an AR rifle?

It seems to me that is should be cheaper then regular ammo since it does not use a brass case.

    Their web site is http://www.natec-us.com/products.php

    Thanks.

I have seen bad to so-so ratings of it. The few rounds I fired went bang but that was about it. I have a friend that tried it and this was the result.

Thanks for the picture. I think I will pass on trying it for right now unless I can use my friends rifle to test it from.
