Nope and it disgusts me how many times I see people in 711 using them to buy absolute junk food food.. then pull out $100 for a carton of smokes.. fucking ridiculous ..

It's a welfare debit card basically..

So every time you enter a place a business and see 'EBT accepted here'.. they're talking about food stamps.

They made them cards instead of stamps so that it wasn't embarrassing to use them.

I think they should be made from 8.5 X11 sheets of hot pink paper. Maybe if people felt a little embarrassed using them they'd work harder to get off of them.

With Paper stamps you got cash back as change, and you could sell them for cash to other people.

With the Eat Better Tonight card it's a bit harder, although not impossible, to do that. As far as buying junk food, everything In this country is junk food now in some way.

(honestly I can't tell if she's parodying the welfare lifestyle or encouraging it)
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

I was at Albertsons down here ( originally from highlands ranch so this whole EBT food stamp thing is new to me) any way went to pay and I had some sort of junk food probably fried chicken and I saw EBT on there and made some Joke about oh yeah I'm paying for this on food stamps. The clerk said oh okay you want this on you're EBT. I looked up and said no I work.

Went to sonic down here and EBT is a Fucking payment option! I work at T-Mobile I had a customer cone in to pay her bill , it was past do and suspended. They all had smartphones. She pays part of it and said she would pay the rest when she gets her welfare check next week, and her daughter gets her check from the state. They leave and go and get into a very decent vehicle.

I think she's saying how messed up it is, but sadly that's how some people think and the system encourages that sort of behavior.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

I think food stamps is a good program that just like most things has morphed into ways for people to be lazy. If you truly need food stamps, then to me there is no shame in that. I have never been on food stamps, but for some time a year or so ago I considered it.
