    Default Liberal colleges

Wow I just found out that colleges have their out of state students from obama states such as California that are not going to be a toss up, registering to vote in Colorado in order to swing our state to Obama. They have some sort of easy registration available at the local student center....

Obummer is running the same go vote ads he did last time, hoping that people who ordinarily will not register and who do not really pay attention to whats going on will not realize its HIS FAULT, run out and register and vote his ass back in anyway. College campus are important because they ahve a valuable commodity- NEW UNREGISTERED voters with heads full of mush and no life experience who are easily distracted by shiny things, so you can bet your ass thats where his peeps are concentrating the big push.

Yeah I hope all of the people who fell for that last time around and now cannot find jobs despite having that college degree will be enough to swing the votes away from Obummer.

Also jackthewall81 did you read this in an article or just hear it on the radio or something? If you have links I would like to read them.

It works for conservative college kids, too.
I was grateful that I could vote on the campus rather than having to do a mail-in ballot, etc.

Granted, I went to college a decade or so ago, but these tactics underwhelm me. While there were a fair number of politically active students at my southern university, most of the student body were lazy slackers who were unlikely to vote unless breasts or beer were involved. The bloom is off the rose this election cycle, and I just don't see college kids voting out of state as having that big of an effect. Voter apathy over the Republican nominee is what concerns me a lot more.

My professor was talking about it in my 9:30 class.

This is nothing new, and has nothing to do with conservative / liberal.

A student may register to vote in the state they live. That may be where they're going to school, and be a different state than where their parents live.

This also means they get registered for jury duty, etc.

Except the majority of students I am around, if not all of them are huge Obama supporters. Liberal education = Young, liberal voting base.

Every time I go to the library or King Soopers there are people outside trying to sign up voters. Interesting that they never ask me, just minorities.

Probably just assume you are registered.

BS it has nothing to do with "conservative / liberal". The overwhelming number of colleges are staffed with hard-core liberal "academics" who preach liberal ideals day in and day out to their students. While there may be a very small minority of conservatives, they are way outnumbered by the activist liberals.

Sure, the student may register in the state where they live. But I would wager most of them register and vote for democrats, based in large part on how they are indoctrinated in the colleges and universities they attend.
