Stock and forearm tape

I have a Beretta AL391 that has some pretty nice furniture on it.

I would like to use it in the field but I dont want to risk scratching the wood etc...

Do you guys know of any product or have any advice on how I could cover the stock and the forearm with something that would keep it protected.

Use it just be careful. Shit is gonna happen though. It builds character . I am not saying not to give a shit about you weapon, but when I go rifle hunting I look down and see many of miles /good times engraved it to it just from regular hunting. I love my 30-06 for the character it has It is one of the only few in my stable that will never be for sale.

but really I have to agree with the other person.
If it's a shooter, sometimes they get dinged a bit, no matter how careful you are. If it's a collectable, it probably won't go out to the field.

Get some of that blue plastic film that is used to protect the metal finishes on appliances when they are shipped from the manufacturers.

Might be worth taking to an auto detail shop and seeing if the 3M clear bra material would work. If it does it would be tough and look great.

There used to be something called "gun chaps" that zipped over your wood , easy on , easy off. It's been a lot of years but I seem to remember them working well. They were made to fit specific firearms so they fit well.
