I don't know the man, but I believe in the "innocent until proven guilty" thing, and I wish him the best. Regardless of whatever "circumstances" there may be, accidents DO happen.

I hope so too. I do believe he is, but that's just knowing the man and not all the facts. I know something like foreclosure could make someone snap with anger for a time, but he's always seemed level headed to me.
Sure as hell will give him the benefit, unlike his one neighbor they showed on the news. That lady seemed mean.
One way or another, this'll make for another great story for Karl to tell at a shoot sometime.
Hang in there Karl.
If anyone is interested You can visit Karl on mon, wed, sat, and sun, between the hours of 1pm to 3pm and 7 pm to 9pm. With a valid ID that contains your birthdate.
For those of you that want to visit it will be a no contact visit. You will talk to him via a telephone and there will be bullet proof glass between you.
The only thing you can give Karl is money in his commissary this would allow him to buy candy bars soda ect.
"The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion." (Edmund Burke 1784)
There is a dress code for Karl's visitors. If you have shorts on that don't go to your knees, the Teller County Jail will not let you in.
Also, Karl can only have 30 min of visits during each 3 hour period, and can only talk to one person at a time.
For instance, today, Sat 8/4, I am meeting Curcuits at the Jail at 1p, and we are each going to talk to Karl for 15 min.
Visit are allowed 1-3p and 7-9p Sat, Sun, Mon, and Wed.
If you are planning to visit Karl, call me before 1p today, 8/4, on my cell 719-339-6183, and I'll let him know you will be coming when I speak to him at 1p.
Your visits would really help cheer him up.
Hopefully by next Wednesday, 8/8, Karl will be a free man.
Matt Martin
It's great for you 2 to go visit him.
Please give updates/details on his 'bonding out' process, either in this post or in PM please. What's the next step for Karl as far as retaining an Atty?
Thanks for the info Matt,
Kyle
