My wife and I have both worked in the mortgage industry for a number of years. You'd be surprised how much devastation people do to their homes when they're getting forclosed on and they don't get in a bit of trouble.

People break windows, urinate on the carpet, tear out the sheetrock, remove all the cabinets, tear out all the carpet. One person actually cut through all the water pipes and flooded the entire house. It was a total loss and had to be demolished. None of that crap is illegal but I guess arson crosses the line.

I have not spoken to Karl since I interviewed him about joining our bail agency a couple years ago, but I do hope he gets through this alright.

Karl should have been bailed out this morning, unless something went wrong with that process. Hopefully we'll hear from him soon.

Karl will not be out untill monday as far as I know. His bond should get reduced on Monday.
