    Default harley shops

    hey guys,

I'm looking for an indy shop between denver and boulder that has a good parts inventory on the shelves.

I need a couple stupid things, but don't want to wait for them to be ordered in

I need new bars (anyone ever see handlebars crack? they're chubby bars and they cracked where they go from 1" to 1.25")

I need to wire a horn, and I need 1 slip on (2")

I sold my bike, but the colorado issued vin fell off, so I have to go through inspection all over again to get a new VIN before I can actually sell the bike....I don't know why the state can't just print my old vin on a new plate

Might try 2-Wheelers on 38th. They've been around since the 70's.

Thanks, do you know if they keep inventory? Or are they like most places now and just order what they want/need from a catalog and wait a week.

I like to support local business, but when they order from the same catalog I can (and pass on additional costs) they make it hard to justify

Try Thunderbird Motorcycles on 44th. They mostly do service, but they have a bunch of parts in stock, might be worth a call. They're good guys.

I'll toss in a second vote for 2-Wheelers off of 38th. They should have what you're looking for.

This place gets so loud now that they have a bar attached.

Arlin has been a metro staple for decades. Yes he has a multitude of parts on hand. of course what you want who knows. When you are looking for a specific item, No One ever has it.

I don't keep a lot of HD stuff on the shelves, but I can get a crapload of stuff out of the Denver Biker's Choice warehouse in 1 working day. If you can't track it down, gimme a call in the morning at 3oh3 2one62400.

    Default lafores

My spelling may be wrong. 2nd and Sheridan west side. Tons of part, almost no OEM. All drag specialties, custom chrome and such. And I think they're open Sundays. At least they were when I was in a spot and needed a caliper bolt. 2 wheelers is cool if you like vintage. Lafores is just bigger.

At one time 2 wheelers was the only game in town. Arlin and his late business partner Jim were there at crazy hours, putting on runs, block parties etc, before most of you guys were old enough to have a mc lic.
    Then unfortunately they got hamsterized.
I know Ron also, he has a very nice setup.
