I wouldn't take a car I liked back there, which is why I asked if any of you wanted to ride the "trail/dirt/rock" portion with me. I have a crew cab, and could even make more than one trip, if needed. Yes I have seen several cars back there, they can make it, but why beat on it if you don't have to?
It looks like there are rides available. I don't think you would have a problem. There are no "rock" obstacles. However, there is a fairly abrupt change up a hill in the crossing I mentioned before. Depending on your car, you could drag the back on it.Originally Posted by KestrelBike

Sorry fellers, but I am going to have to bail out on this, had to put the spare tire on my truck this evening.
I have to work all day Saturday, possibly 10 hrs. plus, and I will need to get my tire fixed Sunday so that I will have a spare.
The tread on my tires are so worn that the wear bars are even with the tread so, keep your eyes on the trading post because I will have some items up for sale to get some new tires.
Or, if there is a member that runs a tire shop, and would be willing to take firearms in trade for a set of new tires....... PM me......

My daughter called me this morning and she and her husband want to go shooting and want me to go with them.
As unexpected as this is, I'm dropping all of my plans for today and taking them to the South Site. We should be there by 1PM. Driving 2 vehicles: a POS Toyota Celica in BAD need of a paint job, but was once blue, and a newer white Ford Escape.
If you make it up there and see these two vehicles, don't shoot us, but come on by and say hello!
