    Default Automotive glass.

Any recommendations for auto glass replacement ? Broke a rear window on my f150. Called a few places and the prices seem to be out of hand.

Specialty glass.... Sucks, doesn't it? Wait till you break one of the little tiny corner windows in a car.

For any glass but windshield, I go to the junk yard. WAY cheaper, if they won't install, they'll tell you where you can go. Also, you are more likely to get factory glass, which is NOT the case when you shop prices on windshields.

Really sucks. One section of my rear window broke. The whole unit (3pc) needs replacing. What a giant rip off. Guess its how ford designed the windows.

This ^^^^^^^ Windshields are common the rest is not. Even 30 years ago a small side window in my grand am was $200 back then.

I can check with my glass guys tomorrow, I actually need a new rear window in the back of the GMC dually (jacknifed the goose into it) but am waiting until I get the bodywork fixed first, so I can kill two birds with one stone.

SafeLite Auto Glass. Probably the best service around, At least up north.
