You can get some stuff at the pet store, I comes in a two bottle package for about 12 bucks and lasts for a couple of months. My lab had same isue,

My wife has relayed to me a couple of instances where vets have essentially given up on an animal due to diabetes. With a change of diet (and sticking to it) they have been able to virtually eliminate the diabetes.
Skin problems, eye problems, joint issues and such can all be addressed through diet and quite often with astounding results.
Don't tell anyone, but this works for humans too.

My pup had constant yeast infections in his ear. Once I switched him to a grain free diet the ear problems stopped.
I used a product Zymox ear cleanser. Supposed to help with bacterial growth.

1:1 solution of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in a squeeze bulb.. Works great...However, if this is an on going problem, I'm gonna bet its a diet issue. May be time for some testing...

Make sure you get a six pack of beer, a box of condoms, and some lube. Then when you check out just look them in eye and go good thing she has 2 holes.
