It's going to be difficult to get work done with all those weapons removed. You know, ball point pens, scissors, the universal office hammer a.k.a. stapler, chairs, etc.

...or just understand that it's a possibility you'll need a new job if they push the issue. It's a condition of employment, but they won't throw you in the pokey if you have a pistol in the glovebox of your car.

pretty clear what the company policy is.

    1) unlikely you'd be seen moving a carry to a locked spot inside your car.
    2) if a good little worker bee, you might just get a stern warning.
    3) do you like your job and could you find another with less restrictive rules?

that covers their ass in case you have or are involved in an altercation. if your superiors like you great. IF NOT that altercation will lead to your being fired ! as you were in possession of a weapon in direct violation of company rules/ guidelines/ employee handbook policy. if they have box cutters on premesis you have an out. carry one of them.

Went through this at another job a few years ago.. laughed my arse off. They cannot search your car unless you allow it.. regardless of their rules. They would need a warrent, even an officer would need serious probable cause and in most cases a search warrent.

Just don't be dumb about the pistol, it should be locked if you're not in the car anyway... now this does look like it would prohibit you from carrying any type of knife... etc. Now what you could do is get a nice little flashlight with a kurnuled head.. E2D from Surefire comes to mind. What could they possibly say about that
