Need Recipe: 257 Weatherby Magnum
Spleify is going to help me start loading. I want to start with my 257WBY because the factory ammo is so damn expensive for it. I have my brass, some dies on order, and I need a recipe to start testing and developing.
Want something bullet wise between 100-130Grain, pretty hot (over 3000fps), and decent BC (I know, the 257 has no GOOD BC bullets, but something decent). Looking for fairly inexpensive load (HA!) for the rifle to start.
If anyone has a load they have worked up, that would be awesome. Otherwise, any decent load suggestions from recipe books you might have on hand would be appreciated as well.
After I have something that I can use to get some more rounds down this particular rifle, I'd like to start working up some hunting loads: 1 heavier round for deer, and 1 light and fast load for pronghorn.
Thanks!
