Anyone here ride dualsports?
On the oil related posts: I just changed my Triumph over to Rotella T6 5w-40, and it's just a night and day difference...
I kept reading on the triumph forums that a lot of guys are using that synthetic diesel oil on their bikes, and love it. Gave it a shot, and my bike is so much happier now... Smoother shifting and idle. I'm loving it. I was hesitant about doing it, but it's working out great so far.

The Helmet does match the wing. T-6 is being used on most bikes , I do however change it more often probably don't need to but I do.

all of you guys using T6 in your bikes is convincing me to use it in my Harley, may as well I use it in both my Diesels so I have it around anyway!
Yeah I ride a Harley, I'm not fat and still have all of my teeth also. Used to ride sport bikes and also have had a couple Goldwings, if your on two wheels is all that matters...
Don't follow me you won't MAKE IT!
So just in time for crappy weather, got my (family curse) Yamaha running for the first time in about two years. This is the third time I've owned this bike in the last 30+ years, and with any luck, I'll be able to pass it on to another family sucker soon enough. I figure I spend about a buck a mile keeping it going.
Last time I benched it, the carbs were gummed solid, the head was full of gas from where the fuel petcocks leaked, and more oil was coming out of it than the Exxon Valdez. Pulled everything apart, threw $300 worth of gaskets and assorted small parts into it, and got it to fire up after about 500 kicks and an assist from a car battery. Took it out today for it's maiden voyage on the back roads. Got up to 60 MPH without a hitch, just 15 MPH shy of it's absolute, full throttle, oh-god-don't-make-me-try-to-merge-on-I25-at-speed-next-to-a-soccer-mom-in-a-Honda-Odyssey top speed.
Told the boy not to get any ideas...
