Well the group riding style is real simple you ride with common sense and obey the traffic laws. Are you by chance afraid to drive also because your on the rode with people whom you don't know there driving skills???

To what stupidity??? If I ride with anybody I have never rode with I keep my distance untill I see how they ride problem solved.

If you don't ride like that why would you take offense to it??? Sorry I hit a nerve but if you ride with me that won't fly. Your more than welcome to ride like your late to your own funeral just don't do it around me. I also hate to burst your bubble but I have been riding for over 20 years and I have had sport bikes. You see the problem is I know I have been there and done that try again.

I took offense to it also back in the day...........why??? because it was true. 100% fact you don't own a bike like that because your going to ride it like grandpa on his way to church. However if you can ride it like a sane person for one day on a club ride come join us and let's have some fun.

No doubt cagers are the #1 threat but idiots who wish to play super bike racer are not far behind. Unless of course they do that on their own time and not with a pack of bikes.
Seen plenty of Harley riders in my ten years on bikes who ride like shit heads. .... gotta love the "speed out the bar and drag pipe cause you think you can make the turn" lol

On the oil related posts: I just changed my Triumph over to Rotella T6 5w-40, and it's just a night and day difference...

I kept reading on the triumph forums that a lot of guys are using that synthetic diesel oil on their bikes, and love it. Gave it a shot, and my bike is so much happier now... Smoother shifting and idle. I'm loving it. I was hesitant about doing it, but it's working out great so far.

The Helmet does match the wing. T-6 is being used on most bikes , I do however change it more often probably don't need to but I do.

all of you guys using T6 in your bikes is convincing me to use it in my Harley, may as well I use it in both my Diesels so I have it around anyway!

Yeah I ride a Harley, I'm not fat and still have all of my teeth also. Used to ride sport bikes and also have had a couple Goldwings, if your on two wheels is all that matters...

I tried to find some T6 at Walmart last night but they only had 5w-40 in stock. What weight are you going to use? I was thinking about running the 5w-40 and topping it off with Mobil 1 20w-50 V-Twin bc I still have 2.5qt of it in my garage.

I have about a group of 10 that ride sueprmotos...but similar in nature and we don't mind getting off the beaten path as well since most of us have dirtbikes too. Shoot me a PM if interested and we can link up. We just did some great riding today around Longmont!

So just in time for crappy weather, got my (family curse) Yamaha running for the first time in about two years. This is the third time I've owned this bike in the last 30+ years, and with any luck, I'll be able to pass it on to another family sucker soon enough. I figure I spend about a buck a mile keeping it going.

Last time I benched it, the carbs were gummed solid, the head was full of gas from where the fuel petcocks leaked, and more oil was coming out of it than the Exxon Valdez. Pulled everything apart, threw $300 worth of gaskets and assorted small parts into it, and got it to fire up after about 500 kicks and an assist from a car battery. Took it out today for it's maiden voyage on the back roads. Got up to 60 MPH without a hitch, just 15 MPH shy of it's absolute, full throttle, oh-god-don't-make-me-try-to-merge-on-I25-at-speed-next-to-a-soccer-mom-in-a-Honda-Odyssey top speed.

Told the boy not to get any ideas...

Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
