Picked this up a couple weeks ago, seems like a number of friends and co-workers have these XDm's.

Mine is the 4.5 in 9mm and I picked the OD to be a little different

Nice! I really like OD color scheme in that XDm! I've got the XDm 3.8" .45acp and love it! It's a bit 'flippy' cuz it seems to have a high axis so muzzle flip's a bit much, but it's more accurate than I am and feeds everything! I'd really like to get the 5" XDm in .45acp....

Thought about getting a .45...this is my first large (bigger than .22 rimfire) handgun, my friend has a 3.8 in 9mm and co-worker has a 4.5 in .40sw.

Very happy with the purchase, need more time throwing lead with it. Only 100 rounds through her so far. I did pick up a 3rd mag at the Tanner Saturday...should cut down on some of the need for reloading as I practice some of pistol basics that I need. 19+1 is what sold me on the Springfield!!

I'd like to get an AR with matching OD furniture
