    Very cool bench design. I do see a way to make it "collapsible" in a way by removing the lag bolts holding the legs to the top so you could break it down into three pieces.

    HBar, might I simply suggest a little optional upgrade? Depending on plank size, etc, throw some plywood/carpet or other seamless material on the top there... It will help catch casings and other stuff falling through the cracks... Just a quick thought. It is very nicely done and look solid Good job!
