    Default Anyone shooting a 6mmAR or 6mmARTurbo

    Anybody in CO shooting one of these?? I got one of both the other month from a Match shooer (overkill yes but it was a bargan). Just wondering if anybody else was shooting one at anything besides paper.

    Truthfully, this is the first I've ever heard of this round, but I'm certain some guys here have opinions on it . Where do you buy ammo for it? Maybe that's why he gave you such a hell of a deal.

    Do you mean 6mmx45 otherwise called 6mm-.223 when you refer to 6mmAR? There are a couple of guys shooting that round, and I have considered building one up myself.

    No idea about 6mmARTurbo

    6mmAR is based on the 6.5 Grendal. The Turbo is ackley improved. Ammo is all reloaded. Fast twist for 105gr bullets.
    Ive got all the odd ball stuff:
    6ppc
    6mmAR
    6mmAR Turbo
    I have a 6mmx47 in a Sako (6mmx222Rem Mag)

    I got the 6 and 22BR's in bolt guns. 2900fps in 28in barrel with 105gr. 3100fps with 75gr vmax.
