This guy frequently parks messed up while he is in the gym working out, but parking right up front and crossing over into the handicap spot is a new low for this professional driver.

I thought it might be as well, but they sell propane tanks so more likely regular convenience store. I once handled a claim where a guy was drunk at home, hopped into his car to restock at the liquor store, and crashed through the liquor store front window. The liquor store was ONE block from his house. He pulled out of his driveway, drove a block (straight) stopped at a stop sign, then crossed a main street (think like Colfax) directly into the parking lot of the liquor store. Except for pulling out of the driveway, there would have been zero turning from his house to the parking space at the liquor store. I really, really wanted to ask him why he didn't just walk, but then again, he was so drunk that he couldn't manage a few yards of straight driving without wrecking, so I'm sure he thought driving would be a fine idea.

Obviously he was too drunk to walk. A guy walking on the street could get run over by someone who shouldn't be behind the wheel.

Insurance question for ya Irving. I don't know if you have had any exposure to the auto side of things, but here goes.

If a regular guy pulling a camper with his 3/4T truck, that may or may not have been modified to haul more (doesn't matter per the door sticker GVWR) gets in a wreck, is anyone gonna check his weights and would an insurance company deny a claim for either/or both the truck and/or camper based on a weight issue, measured or not?

What if it's another driver's at fault? Is the not at fault driver subject to getting worked over?

From all the talk, everyone thinks ins carriers will do whatever dastardly deeds they need to deny a claim.

Just curious. You know, asking for a friend.

MarkCo is the better one to ask about that, as that is the kind of thing he would investigate on behalf of an insurance company. My opinion is, if it's just property damage, and you have enough insurance to cover the damages, then no one will likely even consider looking at anything you mentioned. If someone dies, that's when the lawyers and detailed investigations start happening. Don't count on death as a minimum threshold though, any injury at all really.

This douchenozzle has been parked in the same spot right across from the side entrance to the Courtyard for two straight days.

THREE fookin spots, gotta be a record.
