Seems the ladder is more the point of issue than the truck, yes?

Certainly very fair points. So I'll add a little context (which I didn't have in the first post because I was in a hurry...)

This is parked at a construction supply house. The entire other side of the building is contractor parking with plenty of space to get long trucks parked out of the street, even with ladders. And a dozen open spots when this picture was taken.

Nice of him to park his ladder out of the street, but that could have been done 30 ft away without blocking the sidewalk.


Plus, dude needs a ladder rack.

So, I definitely didn't pick the ladder out as being a ladder. Best guess, my mind interpreted it as something across the street in the background.

The context doesn't really make my foot taste any better, but I certainly appreciate the graciousness in your response.

But that's what I get for posting while watching a tv show on the computer, while writing a proposal for a customer, and switching back and forth between screens. Oh well, it's not the first time. Likely won't be the last.
