Not gonna give you that one, the parking area and hashed area are for use of the handicapped person. How it's used is not specified. If they need to offset INTO the hashed area in order to get out of the driver's side, NP.
I had to do just that sometimes when assisting my Mom so she could easily get out on the passenger side.
They're still an idiot for the bumper sticker, though.

Apparently, people in Texas have a different idea about what constitutes a "small car". This guy wasn't the only one with a crew cab truck parked in a spot clearly not intended for his vehicle.
Honestly I think the compact car only spots are a commie plot to make us buy smaller bitch cars so we get better parking. If your vehicle fits in the spot and its not a designated handicapped space, and you dont park like a douche, then park there.
