I'm guessing the South Metro truck was parked that way intentionally...just to make sure he wasn't blocked in if he had to bail for an emergency.

and or access the rear for equipment if needed.

I have a crew cab truck, I tend to park long in a spot because if I try and make it fit in one single spot, someone will still park behind me in that small space and I can't load it up at home depot.
