Sorry Ronald, ours is one of those large insert in the fireplace. It came with the house when we bought it, so I have never chosen one for myself.

Propane stoves or Coleman fuel stoves and a good supply of both fuels.

No you cannot unless you apply for the permit and the max is 250lbs.
In weld cty the hoops are not worth the time OR money. Considering you can buy multiple 40 & 100 lb tanks w/out needing shit .

I'm just stocking for cooking purpose in case of power outage. 6 gallons of Coleman and 4 20 lb propane tanks.
I have heaters for emergency purposes but not for any serious length of time.

Our house is about 3200 sf. I'm thinking you wouldn't want to try and heat the whole house? Are some stoves more efficient than others?
