This is the trigger I used:

ALG Defense Trigger. I think it took something like 20 minutes to swap it out and yes, I kept the spring for the 5.45x39 surplus ammo in there. I guess that means I've got two extra .223/5.56 springs laying around in my box of treats but who knows? Maybe I can incorporate them into my next build!

Ok. That's what I was wondering if you were using a power spring. Thanks

my thought there, whether correctly or no, was to use that spring with the ALG trigger rather than throw in a much more expensive trigger that doesn't allow you to use the spring that came with the upper. I wanted to make sure I kept everything to exact specifications in case it had an effect on the action and caused problems.

Ya I was having issues with mine. Since its a piston upper and has a spring in the bolt I was getting soft strikes even with the power spring. Figured my buffer spring was giving me bolt bounce back. Flat wire sping and should have the issue solved. Haven't been out to test it yet but will post if it fixed my issues.

The geissele trigger and springs work on surplus without the power spring. All I needed was a flat wire buffer spring to eleminate bolt bounce back
