    Default The price of shot

Has anyone bought a bag of shot lately???
I haven't done any in more than a year, the last bag I bought was like 18.99 and saturday I was in Bass Pro Shops (who's fine gun room has gone WAY downhill BTW) and a bag of shot was $54.99
    Can that be right?
is it just overpriced Bass Pro Shops??????????

Bad news. Thats a little high, but its crazy expensive now days. Wholesale lead has almost tripled in the past couple years. I think its about 1.50 a pound now days...

I bet shot stays in the $50s for a while.

I bought 2,000 lbs for $17 a bag early last year. Now I cant buy it in bulk for under $33. Then the skeet range on base closed and I havent fired a round in months.
