    I have not worked on a compact but I have worked over a couple of full size. Just another Phillipine 1911, and if I am not mistaken they come out of the same foundry as Rock Island.
    Expect some maladies such as extractor issues, misfeeds etc. All are overcome with time and money and can make a solid pistol.
    Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you don't.
    The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

    Gun Control - seeking a Hardware solution for a Software problem...
