Actually Bill Maher has been critical of Obama for being NOT left enough.
I noticed that Mitt watched the President--while talking and while listening. The president looked at the floor and the audience alot, he did little to engage with Mitt. Not sure what that means but just something I noticed.
Mitt did seem kind of pensive and plasticky while watching the pres. His facial gestures were looking strained, like he wanted to yell out something

From what little I saw or heard, I have to agree, although 430 is a pretty small sample size. I googled "presidential debate effects on elections", and the general consensus is that they rarely do. The frontrunners tend to be more cautious while the challenger takes the opportunity to make a visible impression.
