We either build starships or perish. Too many people on the planet of limited resources. If the asteroid Apophis or any asteroid of similar size hits the US or even near the US, then this country is doomed.

The basic economics is this:

1. You cannot economically create real estate.
2. You can not economically increase your natural resources.
3. You can economically increase your wealth by changing the way you use real estate and natural resources through technological breakthroughs.

I hope both candidates understand these three axioms of economics.
