    Default Pueblo IDPA, 19 August

Six main match stages and two side match stages. Lots of shooting going on in Pueblo today.

The three new shooters were still happy when they went home. Even the Soto family was there after a long absence. Welcome back guys.

The main match finished up around 12:30-1:00 and the side match shooters were on the road by 2:30-3:00.

Some had never shot a rifle (mostly ARs and a lone AK) weak shoulder before. Not as easy as you might think....

Thanks to everyone that came out early to help with set-up and everyone that stayed late to help with teardown.

Results went out a few minutes ago. Let me know if you didnt get them. They should be posted at www.fridpa.com in a few days at the latest.

A backpack was left at the range. Instead of selling it to a thirsty 4-H kid we put it in the shed for safe keeping. Contact me to claim it or come back next month.

The two new shooters I took with me today were so exited about the match that they totally forgot to pick up their backpack. I told them that if they want to see their backpack "alive" again they'd have to show up early next month and help with the setup as "ransom payment". If they can make it to next month's shoot, I'll pick it up for them.

Thanks for the great match. I really missed shooting with you folks.
