I know the son Oscar and they're all good people over there. They aren't on an anti-mitt warpath they just don't want to be involved in the politics and the campaign and I don't blame them I wouldn't want to be either. To be flaming them for this is ridiculous who really gives a shit? It's not mine or anyone else's place to tell them how they should feel politically.
This is exactly why I hate election years. Instead of finding and electing a respectful leader for the US we all bitch at each other about who's better and start meaningless fights.

It sounds like they are great people but how dumb is that. Show a little backbone and serve lunch.

Turning him down put them into the politics, serving him just as they serve any other customer that would walk through the door would be keeping to their business and not entering politics.
I don't eat there because of the politics. I eat there because of the food.

how about restaurants serve whoever the hell wants to come eat there? id serve obama no problem. the guy is a customer like anyone else. you don't think you serve tons of rabid republicans and democrats daily? shoot, the way you be apolitical is to just serve anyone with no questions asked.
I think to boycott them is silly. They were in a "damned if you don't, damned if you do" situation. If they'd taken the reservation and let him in, the press would've had a field day about "favoritism". Probably not so much about Obama, because he's the Liberal Press' darling. Now, if they'd serve Obama, but not Romney, then that would be different.
But if they're saying "we don't want either of them in here because we don't want to be portrayed as aligned with either side", then I applaud them. But, I don't even know where the place is.
