Hey yall!
I'm new to the forum and relatively new to CO. I currently don't own an AR but I'm in the market for a new rifle and look forward to getting started with this platform.
I grew up in BF Tennessee and got my first shotgun at 8 years old. I have been shooting and hunting ever since, which amounts to about 38 years.
I'm still researching AR info but swaying towards the M&P 15 Sport. It seems like a reasonable entry level rifle to see if I like the AR platform.
Mainly, I intend to use the rifle for target shooting at 100 yards or less.
Unlike in Tennessee, I can't just walk out the back door and shoot. So I'm looking for places to shoot that are within a reasonable proximity of Boulder. I noticed the local rifle club has a 7 year waiting list! So before I pull the trigger on this deal, I would like feel comfortable about having a place to shoot my new rifle.
Any info on shooting ranges/locals will be greatly appreciated! Thanks and yall have a great day!
