CCW at DMV?

Searched the forum and didn't come up with anything, so I'm searching the interwebs now. But I was curious, can I carry at the DMV? I need to renew my driver's license. Is the DMV a federal building, and therefore illegal to carry? There aren't metal detectors at the entrance though... so I'm throwing it out there for the knowledge of the forum members.

Yes, you are GTG. I've done it and I was fine. It is not fed property and does not violate any laws to CCW. If you are still worried, just make sure you are ready to kick someone in the face.

Not that I've seen. Anyway, they can post all the signs they want, they're meaningless without a manned metal detector.

Yeah I'll have to do it online in 5 years, when it's due again. I had to go in this time though, because it's been expired since August 7th. Whoops.
