Crazy.. way cool but crazy. Was curious how the commercial pilots on here feel about seeing an empty plane hit the deck.

What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
-- Ayn Rand, Anthem (Chapter 11)

It made me cringe when the plane finally hit the deck.
I hate flying to begin with and I wont sit in the front 10 rows anymore after watching that.![]()
That documentary was amazing! It was crazy that one of the engines stayed on at full blast after the plane had crashed and come to a stop. They sprayed water into the engine from the fire truck to shut it down.
i wish they would have crashed it a little harder
What that show needed was more commercials. Nothing like cramming a 60 minute show into 2 hours.
The two military plane crashes that I have intimate knowledge of, involved a total of 12 friends. Only two survived, one barely and the other with a TBI. In both cases the wreckage did not resemble an aircraft.
That show put a nice pretty picture on crashes. I was not impressed with the show.
