yea I will next week probably. I just sold a rifle to order one of those since DPMS royally pissed me off about a .243 I have been waiting since freakin January for.
So I found Cobb and I want one of those 24" .308 models they look like the future of AR versatility very cool design better than the MGI if you ask me.

    I would expect delays.
The current Cobb rifle lineup will be refined and re-branded with the Bushmaster snake, and will be produced out of Bushmaster’s Windham, Maine Facility.

If they're making money, they're not going to drop the operation and wait for the new one to start up.... (of course, business decisions don't make too much sense at the corporate level)

They have to move the Cobb tooling from Georgia to Maine. They can't do that while they're still cranking out hardware.

well the head guy at Cobb is sticking around. he's got a vested interest in whats going on. These things don't happen over night, unless the buying company is purchasing to put a competitor out of business.

as mentioned before, best thing to do is flat out ask 'em!
