    Default Colt SP1's

    I have a well used 20" SP1 and wouldn't mind another one for the future. They handle better for me than most of the modern AR's do.

    I see an early 3 prong model for sale here for $1800 and a 1981 model on THR in the $1300 range. Both appear almost new. Are the early models any better? Or are they best as collectors?
